Miro Mountain Hike

An abandoned hotel built into the mountain with incredible views of Jaco. The trail and buildings are decorated by local and international artists, which makes it great for photography. Look out for wildlife such as monkeys, toucans and frogs on a very easy trail for all skill levels.

Farmer's Market

Every Thursday and Friday vendors gather a few blocks from the villa with native Costa Rican fruits and vegetables, organic options and a farm-to-table meat vendor.

Releasing Sea Turtles

Watch sea turtle releases organized by a local organization that fights turtle egg theft. This is not a bookable tour. The organization announces releases when conditions are right, so ask the concierge.
