“Amavi is perfect for a retreat, family gathering, or freind get away. You can choose to have privacy in your room, but plenty of nice spaces for whole group to gather. Quiet, safe, and great location! The staff was the cherry on top. Matt was there to answer any questions and to book reservations, tours and massages. Chef Jonathan had great food, prepared on time with a variety of menu choices, and always had a smile on his face. Uranie the cleaning lady was on top of everything and willing to help with anything, and makes the best smoothies! We hosted our first yoga retreat here and it was the perfect space!”

“We had my Bachelorette Weekend Here and everyone loved Hotel Amavi! Absolutely stunning place! We all had our own bathroom and the used the rooftop to do yoga . We loved the bar and common area! Pool was clean everyone was friendly! And they helped us plan everything ! Definitely unforgettable stay. Recommend 11/10! And shoutout to Matthew for taking care of my girls and I! “This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. From weeks before our trip until we left Costa Rica, Matt, the concierge, was incredibly communicative, proactive, and helpful. He met us on arrival, gave us a tour, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. At his recommendation, we rented golf carts (a great call), and he helped arrange excursions, a breakfast chef, security, and our detailed grocery list upon arrival. For one excursion, he connected us with a guide he considered the best in the area. We had such a great experience that we got drinks with him afterward and still keep in touch. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of storage and individual AC units. The pool and bar area became our main gathering spot for meals, drinks, and sports. Our bachelor party included nine men, and every one of us agreed this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve had. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s the best way to experience Jacó Beach”

“Amazing stay in Jacó! This property (formerly Hotel Amavi) is set up like a boutique hotel, each room has a private bed/bath with locked access, some with kitchenettes and one with a sitting area. The pool was spotless and well maintained, and the outdoor bar/kitchen area is gorgeous and perfect for hanging out (TV, speaker, fans). It’s not a traditional indoor kitchen, but we had everything we needed: grill, microwave, 2 fridges, plus microwaves in rooms. We loved having a security guard 7pm–7am—super helpful and made us feel safe. Daily cleaning was wonderful and cleaning lady was so sweet. Location is unbeatable: beach is a 2-minute walk. Concierge Mateo was amazing—answered all our questions, sent vendor info, and responded immediately when we had a brief water issue. We left so sad to go. Highly recommend!”
